Water and farming - meeting the Minister
Last week I hosted a roundtable with Norfolk and Suffolk water abstractor groups, Terry Jermy MP for South West Norfolk, and Water Minister Emma Hardy. The meeting brought together farmers and water abstractors, who are working to make sure that in our region water security can underpin food security. Licences for water abstractions for many local farms will be reduced, due to agreements set many years ago to help sustain water for human in our region. But we must make sure t

My PMQ on road safety - a promise for action
Big news, big news! I know so many of you have been following my work on road safety. Today I raised it with the Prime Minister. Like Roman said in his letter, he wants all children to be safe when they cross the road - I won't stop campaigning on this until all children are. But real progress here for Trimley St Martin. Keep your eyes peeled for more on this campaign from me over the coming months - this is just the beginning.

The Charter is a five point charter which calls for improved care for people with Parkinson's. This comes after months of Parkinson’s UK volunteers campaigning across the country and securing over 113,000 signatures on the Movers and Shakers parliamentary petition. You can read more about the Parky Charter here https://4cacc870-6f0c-4ed8-ac81-71f8d26f5148.filesusr.c

My 10 Minute Rule Bill on road safety around schools
Road traffic accidents are the leading cause of death for children in the UK And, tragically The Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) estimates that every single month 1,200 children are injured in traffic accidents that happen within 500 meters of the school gates. We also know from Government data that 14% of child fatalities occur during the morning school run between 7 and 9 o’clock, and 23% happen after school between 3 and 5 o’clock.  We can change thi
