Express your interest to be part of the Pride in Place Board

The Government has launched an exciting new Pride in Place programme, bringing £20 million of investment to Felixstowe West. This funding is about making real improvements that matter to local people — strengthening communities, improving shared spaces, and giving residents a stronger voice in shaping their neighbourhood.

 

As part of this, we are now inviting people in the local area to express an interest in being considered for the new Pride in Place Board for Felixstowe West.

I am pleased to confirm that Shez Hopkins has been appointed as Chair of the Felixstowe West Pride in Place Board. Shez will work with East Suffolk Council and I to appoint the full Board membership and ensure that local voices are at the heart of how this funding is shaped and delivered.

This is open to everyone in the local area. Whether you have professional expertise, community experience, local knowledge, or simply a strong commitment to Felixstowe West, we would really encourage you to put yourself forward. At this stage, this is just an expression of interest. We will be in touch in the coming weeks with a short questionnaire for you to complete as part of the application process.
