SEND Report Launch

This morning I’m launching my new report - SEND in Crisis.

Since I was elected in July last year, I’ve been blown away by the scale of the SEND crisis here in Suffolk Coastal. Too many families are stuck in a broken SEND system - under strain, exhausted, and desperate for basic support. My report brings together the experiences of 97 local families who responded to my survey, along with casework and FOI requests, to show the scale of the challenge we’re facing.

My report highlights systemic failures - and most importantly, what we can do to fix them.
