Letter calling for recognition of a Palestinian State

So many people across Suffolk Coastal have been appalled by the scenes in Gaza. The suffering is unimaginable, and we need stronger action to stop the crisis now.

I’ve joined MPs - from across Parliament and on all sides - in co-signing a letter to the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary, asking that we now formally recognise a Palestinian state.

We cannot have a lasting peace or two-state solution without the recognition of both states. The UK must formally recognise the state of Palestine.
