Felixstowe Lifeboat

I recently visited Felixstowe Lifeboat to learn more about the incredible work this volunteer-led team does to keep people safe along our coastline.

From supporting emergency callouts and missing person searches, to helping educate beachgoers and working closely with the Coastguard, their work is essential - and often goes unseen.

We spoke about the importance of local coordination, the pressures facing voluntary rescue services, and how we can do more to support organisations like theirs with the resources and recognition they deserve.
