Great to be at the Felixstowe Jobs Fair on Friday, meeting employers, training providers and organisations all in one place.

Today stage one of the The Tour Of Britain sets off from Woodbridge, travelling right through Suffolk Coastal - including Leiston, and Aldeburgh - before finishing in Southwold.

Just two weeks to go until the Langley Avenue Community Fun Day in Felixstowe, on Saturday 13th September, 13:30 - 16:30, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic afternoon.

I was delighted to join The Art Station in Saxmundham for the opening of their new Insect Hotel.

I recently had the privilege of meeting local Ukrainian residents of Suffolk Coastal. Their stories quite honestly moved me more than I could have imagined.

I'm hosting a Jobs Fair in Saxmundham on Thursday 2nd October, 14:00 - 16:00 - bringing together local employers, training providers, and support organisations to connect residents with new opportunities.

I visited Sole Bay Men’s Shed ahead of their official opening recently to hear more about the brilliant work they’re doing and the difference it’s already making.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve hosted two meetings with residents living in FirstPort-managed properties - with a meeting in Melton and in Felixstowe.

Out knocking on doors and talking to residents today in #Leiston - thanks to everyone who spoke to me and my volunteer team. We managed to finish just as the rain arrived - talk about good luck!

☕ This morning I held another coffee morning - this time in Yoxford. It was great to meet with nearly 50 residents, talking about what matters to them – Sizewell C, road safety, connectivity and rural issues in general.

Last week, I met with residents in Thorpeness to discuss the urgent impact of coastal erosion, which has claimed 5 metres of coastline in just 6 weeks.

It was great to meet Sam Porter from Lowestoft Foodbank in Parliament recently, following a previous visit to their Saxmundham base earlier this year.

Too many schools are surrounded by fast traffic, poor signage, and unsafe crossings - and I hear the same concern again and again from headteachers, staff, and parents: it’s putting children at risk.

Big news yesterday with the announcement of new Best Start Family Hubs - designed to give every child the best start in life and provide joined-up support for families.

Last week I officially opened my new constituency office in Felixstowe - delivering on my commitment to make sure people across Suffolk Coastal can access help and be heard.

Out this morning in a very sunny Felixstowe, chatting to lots of residents about issues including SEND, roads and potholes, and a lot more besides. Lots of case work to follow up with, and lots of conversations I'll take back to parliament.
