Last week I met with members of Trimley St Mary Parish Council to discuss the local issues and priorities affecting the community – including road safety, and playing facilities.

This week I visited the Job Club at the Salvation Army Felixstowe, Church and Community Centre, a fantastic event that’s held regularly to support people into work.

I recently had the chance to visit the incredible Level Two Youth Project  in Felixstowe. What an amazing space and community – 24 years working with young people, and changing young people’s lives in Felixstowe.

I recently visited Cotman House Residential Home in Felixstowe, to meet with staff and residents. It was great to see the high quality of care and support that residents receive, as well as the excellent facilities such as their dementia friendly cinema.

I had a great time visiting Kyson Primary School last week, on their last day of term for Easter.

I loved visiting Benhall St Mary's CofE Primary recently. School visits are so often the best part of this job – the young students are always so impressive, articulate and bright – thanks for showing me around – and I’m looking forward to welcoming the students to Parliament in the summer.
