Today we mark VJ Day, remembering the day in 1945 when the war in the Pacific came to an end and the Second World War was finally over.


We remember the bravery and sacrifice of those who served in the Far East, and we honour the memory of those who never came home.


Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
