Last week, I visited Ipswich Hospital, which serves much of Suffolk Coastal and the wider area.
During my visit, we talked about the strain the hospital is under with the current flu outbreak - and the wider pressures that emergency health care is under all year round.
The reforms, funding and commitment to supporting our NHS will help build a stronger health care system, but it doesn't make it easier for those working in our NHS or receiving care today. Thank you to everyone working so hard to deliver under such enormous pressure.
I also meet with Dr Dan Coates and the Older Care team. Their innovative approach ensures frailer patients receive tailored support in a calmer, less stressful environment, allowing them to get the best care possible. A huge thank you for hosting me and for the ongoing dedication to providing such compassionate care.
If you want to get involved in helping to shape the future of our NHS, join me for one of my upcoming workshops in Felixstowe, Saxmundham or via my online survey. More details available here.
