Today we’ve had some important changes to the Universal Credit and PIP Bill, after MPs - including me - made a clear case to Government of the need to listen to disabled voices.

After I recorded this video the Minister explicitly confirmed that "Clause 5" will be pulled in its entirety which means the Timms Review, which will take account of disabled organisations feedback, will now be a key part of the PIP recommendations.

I’m grateful for the changes that the Government has made, and that they have listened to MPs and to experts.
