Years of Tory underfunding have left NHS dentistry in a dire state.
That’s why I was glad to facilitate a meeting between Toothless in England campaigner and local constituent, together with the Minister for Care, Stephen Kinnock last week. We discussed the growing dental crisis in rural and coastal areas – and the vital need for action.
I’m pushing for the ICB to invest more in mobile dentist services, alongside the national plans to invest in our NHS dentistry services. Rural areas suffer hardest when public services fail, which is why we need more investment in innovations like mobile services.
