Meeting with Baroness Taylor of Stevenage OBE

I recently met with Baroness Taylor of Stevenage OBE, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, to raise concerns about rising rents in Leiston.

Many people have raised their concerns with me about their worries about the local rental market, and the fear of being priced out. The following day, I held a meeting with Sizewell C, Suffolk District Council and Citizens Advice about this issue – and I am continuing to work with all to make sure the impact on our communities is properly understood and addressed.
