Loneliness Awareness Week

This week was Loneliness Awareness Week, a time to reflect on the unique challenges faced by people experiencing loneliness - especially in rural areas like my constituency of Suffolk Coastal.

Living in the countryside brings many rewards, but it can also mean isolation, difficulty accessing services, and fewer opportunities to connect with others.

I’m determined to keep pushing for better support, more accessible services, and a stronger sense of community so that no one feels left behind, no matter where they live.
