🚫💧 Bonuses BANNED for polluting water bosses 💧🚫

💧🚫 Last week we banned bosses of polluting water companies from taking bonuses.

It’s just not fair or right that these companies pollute our waterways while their executives take home huge pay packets. This is a big step in making sure the people at the top are held accountable for the mess they’ve made of our rivers and seas.

🗣️ In the EFRA Select Committee, we’ve been questioning water company bosses about their salaries, bonuses, and the billions they’ve paid out to shareholders - money that could have been used to clean up our water and invest in infrastructure.

🙌 This ban is a promise delivered - but it’s only the beginning. We need to keep the pressure on to make sure polluting companies are held to account and that our environment is properly protected.
