Last week I wrote to the Leader of Suffolk County Council and the Cabinet lead for Education to urge them to take urgent action to increase capacity for SEND provision within Suffolk.

I had a great time visiting Kyson Primary School last week, on their last day of term for Easter.

I loved visiting Benhall St Mary's CofE Primary recently. School visits are so often the best part of this job – the young students are always so impressive, articulate and bright – thanks for showing me around – and I’m looking forward to welcoming the students to Parliament in the summer.

I raised this with Minister Bridget Phillipson yesterday and am pleased that Waldringfield and Reydon Primary Schools will now offer nursery provision for local families.

On Friday in the House of Commons I spoke in support of the Protection of Children (Digital Safety and Data Protection) Bill.

I had the pleasure of visiting Bucklesham Primary School recently to meet with the staff and students.

Today I welcomed students from Farlingaye High School in Woodbridge to Parliament.
