This morning in the Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs Select Committee (EFRA), I questioned the Secretary of State at Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), Steve Reed MP, on the importance of securing a strong and sustainable future for British farming.

Last week, I sponsored a Parliamentary briefing on the importance of the farming budget, alongside farming and environmental groups like the NFU - National Farmers' Union, RSPB, and National Trust.

Today, I was pleased to co-sponsor the Ten Minute Rule Bill "Food products (market regulation and public procurement)".

During the EFRA Select Committee, we questioned DEFRA and APHA about recent Bluetongue outbreaks.
