This week we delivered the last of the 15,000 Suffolk Coastal magazines, giving an update on my work in parliament and in the constituency over the past few months.

If you’ve been in Felixstowe lately, you may have noticed that the signs have gone up at my new constituency office on Hamilton Road.

Great to visit RNLI Aldeburgh Lifeboat and meet some of the incredible volunteers who give their time to help keep people safe at sea and on our rivers.

Earlier this week I met with Ukrainian families living in Suffolk Coastal - to hear more about the realities of war in Ukraine, and the importance of supporting the efforts to stand up to Russia.

A brilliant day at the Suffolk Show - celebrating everything that makes our County so special, from local food, farming and livestock, to crafts, rural businesses, military displays and so much more.

It was a real pleasure to visit A.S.Neill's Summerhill School - one of the most distinctive and historic schools in the UK.

It was great to visit Reydon Primary School and spend time with the team who are working so hard to support their pupils and the wider community.

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Rebecca, who has just moved into her first home with her son, in Martlesham. Her home is a brilliant example of good quality, affordable housing, built to help local people either get on the housing ladder through shared ownership, or get an affordable home to rent through Hastoe Housing Association.

Another Saturday surgery complete in Felixstowe and grateful to have Cllr Mike Deacon joining me today - talking to residents concerned about SEND, housing, public toilet issues, and a whole host of other casework issues that my team and I will be picking up on Monday.

I recently visited the The Long Shop Museum in Leiston to learn more about its incredible industrial heritage and renewed importance to the local area. This site helped to shape national (and even international) history through innovation in engineering and manufacturing.

Great to visit Trimley St Martin Primary School recently to see the fantastic work staff are doing to support their pupils, and the all too familiar challenges that they are facing in relation to the SEND crisis.

Lovely to drop into the Grassroots Festival at Eastward Ho! in Felixstowe today. 167 teams from across Suffolk all playing over the Saturday and Sunday - what an amazing festival of sport and community.

What an amazing VE-day celebration in Woodbridge today. The town at its best, and such a privilege to hear the stories of VEday from the voices of Woodbridge residents.

It was an honour to be invited to the official opening and ribbon cutting of the new playpark in Reydon last week.

A moment for poignant reflection today at #Felixstowe #veday80 torch event. Remembering all those who gave their lives in WW2. 112 torches to commemorate the 112 lives taken from Felixstowe.

Last week, I had a fantastic visit to Saxmundham Primary School. Like so many other schools across Suffolk Coastal, Saxmundham Primary is facing a SEND crisis that is pushing the school’s service to breaking point.

Last week I wrote to the Leader of Suffolk County Council and the Cabinet lead for Education to urge them to take urgent action to increase capacity for SEND provision within Suffolk.

I recently attended the Dementia Awareness Roadshow at Yoxford Village Hall — a fantastic community event bringing together local organisations dedicated to supporting those living with dementia, their families, and carers.
