Attend my 'Big Bus Discussion'
For too long, communities across Suffolk Coastal have been let down by poor bus services.
From routes that have disappeared altogether to services that are too infrequent or unreliable to depend on, I've heard from residents right across our area who are frustrated by the lack of public transport options.

That's why I'm bringing together residents, bus operators and Suffolk County Council for a public discussion on bus services in Suffolk Coastal.

This is an opportunity to share your experiences, hear directly from decision-makers, and help shape the case for better bus services across our towns and villages.

Time for action
I hear the same story week in, week out:
-
Routes cut with little warning
-
Unreliable services you can’t plan around
-
Communities left isolated
And this is happening despite millions in funding.
-
£3.75 million invested between 2023–2025
-
A further £8 million allocated for 2025/26
-
Yet over 1 million fewer bus miles in just a few years
Put simply: more money, fewer services.
That’s not good enough.
Suffolk Coastal is a bus desert
Too many communities across Suffolk Coastal are being left without the bus services they rely on.

From “ghost routes” that have disappeared altogether to services you simply can’t depend on, I want to hear your experience.

Public transport isn’t a luxury – it’s how people get to work, education, healthcare and stay connected.
